This encompasses high-level sport, a strong focus on entrepreneurship, and exceptional opportunities beyond the classroom. Moreton was named Boarding School of the Year by TES in 2021 and the best non-selective school in Shropshire by The Times in 2025.
Moreton Hall is a forward-looking school where academic success and co-curricular achievement are valued equally. It is known for being small, friendly and open, with a clear and shared set of values rather than an excess of petty rules. These values are understood, respected and lived by all members of the school community.
Established in 1913 by the Lloyd-Williams family, Moreton Hall is proud to be one of the UK’s highest-achieving independent schools. The school educates girls from ages 3 to 18 and boys from ages 3 to 11, and also offers Moreton Hall Nursery provision for children aged 1 to 4.
